This is a patient newsletter that will be published on our practice website and sent out via text message to all patients with a mobile number recorded at the surgery. The aim of the newsletter is to update our patients on changes to how the surgery is now operating in light of the Covid-19 pandemic and the current situation where the NHS is open as usual but changes to how we work are continuing in light of changing NHS and government guidelines.
Opening Hours
From Monday 13th February 2023, the practice opening hours will change to 8am-6.30pm Monday-Friday. Please be aware that although the telephone lines will open at 8am, appointments will start at 9am.
Covid-19 Vaccination Programme for 2023
JCVI has outlines interim advice on the covid-19 vaccination programme for 2023. Following this advice, NHS England will no longer be offering covid-19 booster vaccination from Sunday 12th February 2023, except to those at greater risk from serious illness.
JCVI has confirmed there will be an autumn 2023 covid-19 vaccination campaign for those at greatest risk. It will set out further advise on who will be eligible for this offer and for any potential spring 2023 campaign in due course.
