Free Walk into Wellbeing courses

Dear Patients

Harrow Nature Heroes and Harrow Health Walks are thrilled to introduce ‘Walk into Wellbeing’, a transformative four-week course designed to enhance mental wellbeing through gentle exercise and nature connection. It will run from July 30th to August 20th at the Bentley Priory Nature Reserve. This course is an excellent opportunity for your service users to experience the therapeutic benefits of nature. Please do share with your networks.

About the course:

  • Each session includes a gentle walk around the beautiful Bentley Priory Nature Reserve.
  • Activities are based on the theme of the senses to foster a deeper connection with nature and oneself.
  • The sessions will provide a safe space to talk, bond with fellow course participants, and immerse in nature.

Research has consistently shown that spending time in green and natural spaces can significantly improve mental wellbeing. Studies indicate that nature exposure can reduce stress, anxiety, and depression, while enhancing mood, cognitive function, and overall mental health. Engaging with nature helps individuals feel more grounded, connected, and rejuvenated.

This course is a collaborative effort between Harrow Nature Heroes, Harrow Health Walks, and The Ramblers Association. It aims to provide participants with a sense of grounding, strength, and community.

We encourage our patients to register to this enriching experience.
